The amazing thing about breast milk is that it is extremely dynamic and individualized to your baby, meaning its composition changes with the needs of the baby, underlining the variability in its nutrient content as well as the bioactive (immune benefit) components.   Research also suggests that milk fat, changes with the mother’s diet within a three day period and its composition can dictate the child’s long-term health.  Which why it is important that moms continue to eat healthy throughout breastfeeding.
